OTA originally stood for “Organizzazioni Tecniche Aziendali” (Technical Business Organisations). Its establishment was driven by the strong market need to have a party that could be independent of both the insurance company and the insured enterprise, and qualified to draw up appraisals according to complex insurance appraisal criteria.

As the number of appraised companies increased, the scope of the appraisals widened and generated the need for other Value analysis services.

Subsequently, our business further developed, leading to the provision of Governance services, for accounting and finance departments, and Compliance services for top management.

Lastly, with the development of a network that OTA joined from the outset, new Finance Strategy services were added to our range of activities.

Our solid traditions of independence, professionalism and quality of service are acknowledged by hundreds of Italian and foreign companies, of all industries and sizes, and are valued by many categories of professional market operators.

Our services indeed focus on supporting companies and are used by companies in their dealings with Insurance Companies, Banks, Audit Companies, Professional Firms, and Certification Bodies.

How we started

A leader for 40 years
in the insurance business

40 years have gone by since a group of professionals with experience in Insurance Company management and in “Concordato Italiano Rischi Aziende (Italian Agreement for Business Risk)” (Technical Committee at ANIA, now ISVAP) founded OTA.

At that time, sharp price fluctuations and market disruptions highlighted the need for asset assessments to ensure the proper implementation of insurance covers.

This is how OTA began to work, offering its services to companies of all industries and sizes. It has grown by developing expertise both in the technical assessment of assets and activities for purposes other than insurance, and in the area of accounting and compliance management controls.

Our company has evolved over time. We developed a more strategic service area: Rating Advisory and Financial Management.

Today OTA provides its technical services as part of an international professional network with multidisciplinary expertise. Our team draws on such expertise to assess all the implications of the context in which we propose our solutions and to respond to specific needs of both Italian and foreign clients with interests in Italy.
